PADI Open Water Diver Course

The fun part about this course is . . . well, just about all of it because learning to dive is incredible. You breathe underwater for the first time (something you’ll never forget) and learn what you need to know to become a certified diver. During the course, you’ll make at least five pool dives and four dives at local dive sites or your vacation location under direct supervision.

I deliver this course two different ways:  E-learning where you get to watch videos and complete the theory component on your own computer wherever and whenever you like (think cozy slippers and your lounge chair)!  The other method is also at your own leisure and wherever you like but with the hardcopy manual and a DVD (again cozy slippers and your TV)!

When you have completed the knowledge development by whichever method you choose - then we determine your schedule and hit the pool.

Class size is 2:1 maximum.  You have the benefit of direct supervision throughout your confined water sessions with time to learn additional tips and tricks, and if you dive locally I will be there with you too!  (Or take a look at our Travel Page).  If you have a family/friend group you would like to do this with - we can do that too!

Should you decide to choose the Open Water Referral option - I will arrange the referral to your next instructor and ensure all the necessary documentation is taken care of.  Remember, I am DiveStrong Canada - I have contacts all over the world at the highest level of PADI Instructor Certification - Course Director!
